GeoPress cartridges were redesigned in April 2023 with a new "core" and "flow channels" to accommodate a One-Way Valve for use with electrolytes, drink mixes and or other flavored liquids. Cartridge press time increases towards the end of the cartridge lifespan; when press time reaches 25-30 seconds, the cartridge should be replaced.
