Good Sports Outdoor Outfitters is currently seeking enthusiastic, energetic and friendly individuals to join our team. Good Sports is a 39 year old, and growing, specialty retailer in the outdoor industry. We sell name brands like Patagonia, The North Face, Asics, Brooks, and several other pinnacle brands in our industry. Good Sports is a family owned and family run company and values its employees first and foremost.

We are looking to add a full or part-time team player to our sales staff. An interest and experience in the outdoors (hiking, camping. climbing, etc.), athletic training, and/or snow sports as well as the fashion industry is a must.

Paired with retail experience, successful candidates should have the ability to perform the following duties and responsibilities:

• Desire to greet all guests with a genuine/authentic smile and personalized offer to help with their shopping needs when appropriate.
• Ability to reference, share, and apply product knowledge information on an ongoing basis.
• Have knowledge of some outdoor sports.
• An outgoing and amicable attitude. Relationship building is important.
• An understanding of the brands and trends we sell.
• A general knowledge of computer use
• Have the ability and desire to learn quickly.
• Honest, reliable, and dependable.
• Possess fashion merchandising knowledge and experience.
• Drive to meet and exceed performance expectations and goals
• Drive branding and business objectives/sales through excellent execution of visual merchandising and presentation.
• Ability to utilize all company tools, visual talent, and knowledge to plan, map, and execute floor sets incorporating appropriate store specific adaptations as necessary.
• Ability to work in partnership with store management, continually analyze and respond to business/selling trends, assortment needs, and guest feedback--proactively adapt merchandising as needed.

Internet Assistant

Job Type: Full-time

Available to work in office*Full Time M-F 9:00am-5:00pm & Saturdays 9:45am-1:00pm*

Good Sports Outdoor Outfitters is looking for a full time Data Entry/Internet Assistant to assist with their internet department, and you may have just the skill set and mentality needed to fill this role! We are looking for a tech savvy individual to join our team and assist in product listing and customer service primarily for eBay, but also for other websites. You will be responsible for creating product listings and refining content.

Requirements:

• Must be very detailed oriented.
• Must have excellent computer skills including exposure of e-commerce sites like Amazon, eBay, and others.
• Must have exceptional grammar skills-able to spell accurately and write succinct yet detailed listings.
• Must be proficient in Excel.
• Experience listing items online is preferred but not necessary.
• Ability to deal with customers via email and phone.
• Have the ability and desire to learn quickly.
• Honest, reliable, and dependable.
• Must be able to work independently as well as within a team.

Duties:

• List new products primarily to company website, but also may assist with Amazon and eBay as well as other sales channels.
• Answer phone calls and emails concerning customer questions and/or concerns about orders.
• Photograph items to be listed online.
• Use a software program to list items for sale online.

Purchase Order/Inventory Assistant/Retail Associate

Job Type: Full-time

We are currently seeking enthusiastic, energetic, and friendly individual to join our team. We are a specialty outdoor retailer looking to fill a full-time Purchase Order/Inventory Assistant/Retail Associate.

An interest in the outdoors, athletic training, snow sports, as well as the fashion industry is a must.

Duties for this position include, but are not limited to:

• Cover retail outlet store (when open)
• Desire to greet all guests with a genuine/authentic smile and personalized offer to help with their shopping needs when appropriate
• Ability to reference, share, and apply product knowledge information on an ongoing basis.
• Input purchase orders with detail to style #'s, color, pricing, etc.
• Assist with reconciling accounts payable invoices/receivers
• Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets
• Managing inventory
• Performing cycle counts
• Updating inventory count and maintaining inventory
• Reporting discrepancies in inventory

Qualifications:

• Have great attention to detail
• Possess problem solving, attention to detail, and multi-tasking
• Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Have great customer service skills
• Have computer, software, and internet knowledge including Excel and Word
• Be reliable and dependable
• Inventory and/or purchase order experience helpful

Experience:
