In 2014, Benchmade sought to creat a line of knives perfectly fit for hunters and outdoorsman. Every element of these knives has been scrutinized and tested to create the best user experience possible. The Saddle Mountain Skinner boasts a large fixed blade with a recurved blade to assist in meat cutting and skinning chores. One Benchmade pro-staffer said they liked it because, "it feels like I can break down game or fight off a bear with the knife." CPM-S30V steel is features because of its corrosion resistance, edge retention and durability. Pressure-fitted leather sheath is included.
