The Cevedale II GTX is an ideal boot for moderate spring mountaineering routes or long approaches with a heavy load. The thin, lower profile sole is designed for precise terrain feel and is combination crampon-compatible.

Features:

  • Independently adjustable lacing zones, on forefoot and upper, allow user to customize the lacing tension.
  • Anatomically shaped carbon fiber insert w/ polyurethane foam wrap for arch support, better fit.
  • Anatomically designed tongue with extra padding helps reduce pressure points on ankle.
  • Closed camming eyelet at top of foot, secures lace tension in different zones. 
  • Individually mounted tabs allow lacing system to flex as you walk, reducing pressure points.
  • Metal eyelets with small rollers minimize friction and equalize tension.
  • Metal stud works with laces, reducing unwanted tongue movement and pressure points.
  • Flat rubber in toe area improves contact with rock.
  • A low profile midsole for weight reduction and increased sensitivity.
  • Reduced midsole in toe area increases sensitivity to rock.
